Lotta's clogs are handmade in Sweden by a family business that has been making clogs for over 100 years. Your clogs will last you many loyal years to come, all you need to do is give them a little love and attention now and then.
Below are some tips on how to show your Lotta's a whole Lotta love.
General Care
When you first slip your foot into your Lotta clog, they may feel a bit tight. To break them in, Lotta recommends wearing them around the house with a thick sock. Over time, your Lotta clog will mould perfectly to the shape of your foot.
If you're unsure of your EUR shoe size, you can find it here. All clogs generally run true to size, but if you're a half size, Lotta recommends sizing down for the high wood clogs, and sizing up for the low wood clogs.
Wooden Heel Care
Avoid wearing your clogs in the rain. If the wooden heel gets dirty, you can sand them with medium-fine sandpaper following the grain of the wood. Disclaimer: only sand your heel if it is the natural light colored wood. Do not sand your heel if it is the stained brown base. Stained wood can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Leather Upper Care
If you have the natural leather Lotta clogs, wipe the leather occasionally with a dry cloth and a little bit of leather balsam. If you have the Oiled Nubuck clogs, do not use leather balsam. Lotta recommends using a leather protector spray on the Oiled Nubuck blogs prior to wearing them.
