We are so happy to say that the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance will be the recipient of this month’s Shop & Give donation! They will receive 2% of our total May sales. 

In 1996, the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance was founded by ordinary individuals. Bonded together by the desire to create an inclusive and welcoming community for all, the ordinary turned into the extraordinary when they dedicated themselves to dismantling barriers.

Today, LEDA represents a broad cross-section of interests and cultures. Volunteers and LEDA staff work on initiatives throughout the region, alongside stakeholders from all members and segments of our community (nonprofit, education, religious, philanthropic, business, and government), engaged in moving forward a vision of racial equity.

The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance offers a variety of programming and events for both individuals and organizations wanting to improve their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. They host tailored workshops, diversity and inclusion consultations, early childhood programming, work with middle and high school-age students through their "Calling All Colors" program, and lead a Summit on Race and Inclusion once a year for individuals committed to educating themselves and bettering their community. 

The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance serves numerous individuals and organizations in West Michigan. They engage people of all ages with their programming and partnerships. LEDA’s grassroots efforts help amplify the voices of citizens in our community.
