Girlfriend Collective was founded in Seattle by Ellie Dinh in 2020. Their clothing is made from recycled materials like post-consumer water bottles, fishing nets retrieved from the seas, fabric scraps, and other waste (each pair of their leggings contains 25 used water bottles and their bras contain 11!) Girlfriend Collective believes in ethical manufacturing and recycled materials. They believe health and wellness comes in many shapes and sizes, and that representation matters. They believe in being transparent, taking care of the people who make your clothes, and never putting the bottom line before what’s best for the planet.
